Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a degree of as a cum laude theatre and Communication. Following her move out of Missouri and into Los Angeles in 2004, she was involved in theatre arts, including acting and conducting over 20 musicals. Some of these productions included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan as part of the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly started landing TV as well as film roles, while she studied in improvisation and in the group The Groundlings. She also was a part of Theatre West. A unique combination of her voice, and small size allowed Kelly to create many different characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's evil Samara from The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as the cheerful receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly had a role as a regular Series on TV Land's The Exes, where she was a party-hopper and paralegal during the day. Alyssa Mio's smart sexpert her little sister, was Kelly's frequent character in ABC Romantically Challenged. No Tomorrow on the CW featured her as an exhausted suburban mom. Sopranos voices have been heard in numerous animated series like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Her most recent role was as the dim and charming Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. Together with her husband and two children, she enjoys a quiet life.
